While practicing in NYC, Dr. Fox received extensive training in treating patients of African, Asian, Middle Easern, and Hispanic descent. Whether patients are struggling with hair loss, itchy scalp, acne, pigment disorders, dermatitis, or keloids, at Boutique Dermatology we offer a wide variety of therapies to treat this conditions. 

Dr. Fox has seen first hand that patients with darker skin tones are often misdiagnosed or improperly treated due to having different presentations compared to patients with lighter skin. Additionally, she has diagnosed many skin cancers in this population that have been missed by previous providers. While people with pigment-rich skin may not believe they can get sunburns and skin cancer, Dr. Fox knows this to be untrue and still recommends annual skin exams in this population as well.
